New York Comic Con A Success!
In August we outlined to you what our plan was for New York Comic Con and explained the roles of the individuals behind the project. Since then further plans were made, led by Cole (@TheNerdQueens) and Leonidas (@Signs2323) to have a presence on the floor in the convention centre. They recruited Gio (@b_i_ngio) and Ben (@B_Dub3), meaning that we would have 4 team members, 1 for each day of the convention. Back in August I alluded to surprise appearances, you now of course know those to be our favourite cos-player Lis Wonder (@LisWonder1) and Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld (@robertliefeld)!
Thursday October 3rd:
Thursday was the first day of the convention and Leonidas was signs in name and nature! He turned up with the big sign that you can see below and found many people willing to take a photograph with it! He handed out informational leaflets and other Snyder Cut memorabilia to hundreds of convention attendees! Whilst there he also met Lis Wonder who was working at the Vero booth and handed her a special package for Friday. Here is a thread he posted from the convention!
It was great meeting @Stephon_W a fellow Snyder cut supporter! Please welcome him and give him a follow @RTSnyderCut pic.twitter.com/hzNM4KqbMD

Friday October 4th:
On Friday, Gio took the reigns and boy did he do an incredible job! Just like Leo he covered every square inch of the convention centre floor. Whilst there, he found Lis and they both went to meet up with Rob Liefeld! They handed him a special custom made NYCC Release The Snyder Cut t-shirt designed by Ramesh (@RameshDeSilva2) with Deadpool on it!
@robertliefeld was thrilled to recieve his @inktothepeople #releasethesnydercut charity t-shirt supporting @afspnational ! Presented to him by strong supporter of the movement @LisWonder1 ! @wbpictures make sure you watch till the end Rob has a little msg for u😘 @RTSnyderCut pic.twitter.com/QKXmNChYXW

Here is a Twitter thread of Gio’s photographs taken with convention attendees on Friday:

Saturday October 5th:
Saturday started with a BANG! Zack Snyder himself gave us a gift from Mars making the following post on Vero:
Then down in Times Square at noon, at the junction of 42nd Street and 7th Avenue facing East, our billboard started playing. Some great videos were taken and here are a few of them from different angles and times of the day.

We also had our man on the ground in the convention centre, Ben who did a great job taking photographs with people holding a Release The Snyder Cut sign. He also ran in to a Snyder! Not Zack, but another Batman legend by the same name, award winning comic book writer Scott Snyder who was delighted to pose with the shirt!

The day ended with this beautiful post from Zack Snyder acknowledging your efforts as a fandom:
Sunday October 6th:
What better way to round out the weekend than with one half of The Nerd Queens, Cole who attended with her brother Christopher! Like the rest of the team Cole and Christopher covered the whole convention centre, even stopping by the DC booth, and spreading the good word of the existence of Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League. Here is a twitter thread of the photographs that they took with people who are positive about seeing The Snyder Cut!

In Closing:
I just want to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone who put in a great shift these past 4 days, but also to everyone who made it possible. To Will (@willrowactor) and Abdul (@TPZAbdul) for taking the big responsibility for the financial aspects of the project, and ensuring that the $3000+ were donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. To Ramesh and Chris Dawson (@CDawsonAuthor) for taking my storyboards (not even nearly as good to look at as Zacks!) and creating magic with them. To Mick (@TPZMickD) who with the wonderful people at Ink to the People (@inktothepeople) made our NYCC charity t-shirts available. To the team behind @RTSnyderCut who have used the wonderful platform they have created to make this project as successful as it has been. And finally, and most importantly to you. To everyone who made this concept a reality. Without your generous donations and support, NONE of this happens. This is what we can achieve when we are united. When we work as one. So not only do I want to thank you, but I also want to congratulate you. You should take ownership of this success too. We are closer today than we were last week, and that is because of you and because we worked together.
RELEASE THE SNYDER CUT!
