Snyder Cut Image Gives Cyborg's Story a Cruel Twist

Zack Snyder revealed a new image from his cut of 2017’s Justice League that shows Victor Stone (Ray Fisher) seeing a hallucination of himself standing with his late mother and father.

Snyder posted the image, shared via Reddit, to his Vero account. “Careful Victor…if you go inside the mother boxes they will f**k with you big time that’s not Father’s Day that’s a trick,” he wrote as the caption.

Snyder didn’t reveal the context for the deleted footage, but some theorize it involved Cyborg being controlled or manipulated by the Mother Boxes. In the comics, Cyborg’s origin involves him losing his parents. There are plans for a Cyborg solo film, which may show more of his origin story.
