Jesse Eisenberg Unaware of Snyder Cut, Confirms More Justice League Scenes
Actor Jesse Eisenberg, who played Lex Luthor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League, recently spoke to Lights Camera Barstool and seemed completely unaware of — aside from Henry Cavill’s moustache fiasco — any kind of movement concerning a Snyder Cut. In fact, when the topic was raised, Eisenberg said, “I genuinely have no idea.”

“I have no idea. No clue,” he readily admitted. Interestingly, he then recalled, “I think I was in some other scenes too, but… I guess they’re not in the movie,” implying that his brief post-credits appearance at the end of Justice League was originally a part of something much larger. He then added, “I know some of the stuff they were doing was amazing… the writer, Chris Terrio– so I read his original draft, and yeah there’s stuff that probably is not in the movie.”

This confirms everything that filmmaker Kevin Smith claimed to have heard from contacts involved in the production: that there is an alternate cut of Justice League. Smith clarified that he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes and that it was unfinished. It is the hope of certain fans that this cut — if it is ever released — would be a notable improvement over the critical and financial failure that was released into theaters.
In any case, the DCEU in its entirety seems to be moving on from the Snyder-era and no longer seems keen on uniting the League any time in the foreseeable future. The success of both Aquaman and Shazam seems to prove that this was the right move to make.
