A Good Deed is never Lost #BlackPantherChallenge

Black Panther Challenge is an initiative launched by Frederick Joseph to raise money to take kids from “The Boys and Girls Club of Harlem (BGCHarlem)” to see Black Panther in theaters. This initiative provides a rare opportunity for young students (primarily of color) to see a black major cinematic and comic book character come to life. This representation is truly fundamental for young people, especially those who are often underserved, unprivileged, and marginalized both nationally and globally. We have seen this type of initiatives launched in the past for the same purpose, children’s who cant afford to see their favorite superhero films in the theaters. So far they have raised $45,000 with the goal of $10,000. 1400 people have contributed for the cause within 28 days. Their mission is to take over 300 Middle School kids in Bronx, New York to see Black Panther!. So far they have raised $5,400 with a goal of $5,000. With 125 DC fans supporting this initiative.

A Message to all the DC Fans and other:

DC Fans have been through a lot within the past three years, but recently some people who have discussed as DC fans are planning to post negative score for Black Panther. Unfortunately many media and blogs have picked up on this negative topic instead of the above positive topic. I can assure you no DC fan would do this negative thing. I’m a DC fan and i don’t support that event. But, i support this #BlackPantherChallenge. You can too. There are good people doing so many great deeds, some which are visible and some which are not. Focus on positivity and ignore all the negativity, you will feel the hope, for you and the people around you. In these age of social media you get to see more negativity than positivity. It’s upto you to decide which you choose to focus on. I really appreciated those people who are starting this initiatives to help the children. I want more people to do the same thing, not only help the children but in other fields also.
